So You Think You Can Dance!

On Saturday I went to SYTYCD with my mom, sister, sister in law and her family and friends. It was soo much fun! I hadn’t had a girls night in a long time so I needed it! It was at the e center and holy cow I seriously had to plug my ears half the time because of how loud the crowd would get! My ears were throbbing the next day. That part really sucked but other then that it was great! :] Heres a few pics.

Halloween!!

I was so excited for Halloween this year. I just couldn’t wait to get Paizley all dressed up. She had 7 Halloween outfits and it was so fun having her wear them! I was SO EXCITED to go to a Halloween party on Friday night my friend Mallory was throwing. We ended up needing to take Paizley, so I got the soup made I was taking, Kevin and I got dressed up as nerds and headed out! We were there for a few minutes and decided to put Paizley in her costume so we could show her off. I don’t know if she got scared by someones costume or what but she just started SCREAMING. Much like she would do when she had a colic episode, but it was a different scream. A more heartbreaking one. Kevin and I tried all of our tricks, the different ways we bounce her, taking her outside, showing her some decorations, anything to try to distract her. We gave her a bottle, she wouldn’t take it. Nothing was working! It was like she had forgotten why she was crying but just wouldn’t stop. I was so scared since I had never seen her cry this way and she couldn’t catch her breath. She really cried for 30 minutes straight. I was crying too because I didn’t know what was wrong with her. When I was a kid I hyperventilated once and she was doing a lot of the things I remembered doing. I thought for sure we were going to have to go to primarys or something. So we decided to put her in her carseat and start driving. All the sudden she calmed down. We were going to try to take her to Kevin’s parents since there house wasn’t far from the party so we could go back. But they were already in bed, so we decided we’d go back and she if she would just sleep or something. Right when we got back to the house though she started screaming again! It was so weird. She just really did not want us to go! I was so upset because I never get to see my friends and Kevin and I got all dressed up. But we just had to go home. We didn’t even get a picture in our costumes! Oh well I guess. There will be a lot more Halloweens to come! I think were going to dress up for lets make a deal in Vegas next weekend so hopefully we will get a picture then! WOW that was long. haha

Anyways Halloween was much better for Paizley. She was happy and looked so cute! We went to Kevin’s parents for a while and took pictures of her and her cousin Austin dressed as a monkey. Aren’t they cute?

After that we headed to my parents. It was my sisters Birthday too so we wanted to give her Birthday wishes! My brother came later with his boys and unfortunately they weren’t in their costumes and we didn’t get any pictures. Oh well I guess! I hope everyone had a good, happy, and safe Halloween!

We gave in and decided she needed some sugar on Halloween too! I thought she’d get mad when I took the sucker away but she didn’t care at all. Cutie! She just wanted to eat those pumpkins haha Happy Birthday Aunt Sa!

Happy Halloween everyone! That was a long post. And I still need to post pictures of her in all her Halloween outfits. . I love her and I love taking pictures of her! I can’t believe how quick she changes so it’s nice to try and capture every moment :)

First Snowfall!

On Tuesday we had our first taste of snow for the season! I couldn’t wait for the first snowfall. Mostly because I wanted to start a tradition of having hot chocolate on the first day of snow. (Isn’t my life SOO exciting :) ) I thought it would be really fun to get Paizley all bundled up and take her outside to see the snow and feel it. But I wanted to wait for Kevin to get home, I hate having him miss any of her “firsts”! And I know he appreciates being there for most of them. We had AT LEAST a good 3 inches but sadly by the time dad got home the snow had all but melted. Oh well! I am sure there will be a TON of snow to come to show her. But in honor of the first snow I had to put her in her winter jammies!

Doesn’t she look cute?! She is doing sooo good at sitting up by herself. She has even started to catch herself when she falls and she can play with her toys while she sits up. And look at her tooth!! She looks so cute huh?! Now the one next to it is comin in!

Once Paiz was off the bed I made us some hot coco! Good old Stephens. . .I think its the best! I had Milk Chocolate (my fav) and Kev had Peanut Buttercup. The peanut butter one was really good! It has miny cups that melt. . .Mmm doesn’t it look GOOD?!

 

A pretty small tradition but I think it will be lots of fun in the years to come :)

5 months already!

I cannot believe another month has gone by, let alone 5 since our beautiful baby girl arrived! Its crazy she will be half a  year old in a month :) Oh I love this little girl so much. She is SO MUCH fun!! Paiz your the happiest giggliest thing on this earth. I just cannot get enough kisses or her hugs. I wrap her arms around my neck and she kinda squeezes, feels like a hug to me! And I LOVE it! There is nothing better. Some new things. . Paiz has a tooth! Her bottom right tooth cut two days ago. And it was a breeze! I was dreading teething since most babies get so fussy and don’t sleep a lot, but it didn’t affect my sweetie at all. Im going to miss her huge gummy grin but it will still be cute with teeth. It just makes her seem OLD! She absolutely loves to eat! She is currently eating rice, oatmeal, butternut squash, carrots, sweet potatoes, green beans, bananas, applesauce, and peaches. She loves it all! Last night she even wanted to feed her self.

Not sure if you can tell, but she rubbed her food all over in this pic! She was really messy but way cute. Don’t you love her eyes? I wish mine looked like that!

Paiz loves to gabber. I can say “hi” to her a million times and she tries to repeat it. Says something like “haaagoo” haha at least shes got the H sound down! Another new thing, she doesn’t wake up for he binky anymore!! She usually wakes up about 930 sometimes 945. Its soo nice! I just need to stop letting her be my alarm clock so I get some things done while she sleeps in :) Right now everything goes in her mouth, sometimes when shes trying to get a toy shell think she has it so she’ll hurry and shove her hands in her mouth but theres nothing there, she does it over and over its funny! Right now shse wears 0-3, 3-6, and even on 6-9 month outfit. Its dumb how clothes fit! We just think she is the smartest thing! I guess most parents think there kids are but we will play “123” with her, where we hold her facing us and say 1 … 2… 3! And on 3 she falls back. We don’t have to help her at all and she loves it! I need to record it for sure.  She is the jumpiest person I have ever seen. She jumps at just about anything but when she gets scared she usually just smiles. Paizley has turned into the easiest baby! We hardly have any crying anymore and its great! She is so happy its so nice to know she isn’t in pain anymore. I love her so much!  Here are a ton of pictures :)

What a big girl!!

Paizley is already sitting up! The day after she turned 4 months she decided to show us how she could do it. She does still lean on her hands or elbows for support, but I think that is pretty darn good for a 4 and a half month old! She can’t do it for long, but I did get some cute pics of her the other night. :) I just love those jammies. I am sad they are about too small. Anything with elephants I am just a sucker for!

Since the day we brought Paizley home she has liked to stand up- literally, a lil 6 and a half pounder would be standin up on our bed while we held her hands. She has always been very strong. Of course she was wobbly but she is getting to be a lot steadier. Today I decided I would let her lean up against the couch to see if she could stand. Sure enough she could. She stood there for close to 5 minutes without falling! I was super impressed. She is such a big girl and I love her so much! Look how cute she looks :)

So Paizley usually sleeps in till 9 or 930, and our church is at 9. We have been scared to go so we have been going with my parents to there 1 o clock a few times. This last Sunday we decided we will just wake her up and see how it goes. It was HORRIBLE!! She was soo fussy the whole day. It made me wonder if it was even worth it! Of course I know it is, but we are thinking we may just go to my parents ward until January and ours is back to 11- perfect for her! She was soo tired and would not sleep at church so we ended up just coming home instead of making the whole building suffer from her extremely loud screaming! Luckily I managed to get a cute pic of her and Dad before church. She looked so beautiful! And he is pretty handsome too :)

 

And just because I am completely obsessed with my daughter here is a funny picture of her havin a bad hair day! haha Shes a goof ball sometimes.

4 months

As of yesterday Paizley Jo is 4 months old. I did not think it was possible but she continues to get cuter EVERYDAY. She is so full of personality and I absolutely love it! She’s the cutest, sweetest lil thing on this planet. As I am writing this she is watching baby einstein just giggling away. :) She laughs so much it is so fun. Yesterday she went to the doctor for a check up and as he’s looking at her she just BURST out laughing at him. For like 3 minutes straight she was just cracking up, he was so surprised. It was the cutest thing! He said she is doing great! And that she seems really advanced for her age. Her stats are: 13 lbs 2 oz (45%) 24 3/4 in long (80%) and whatever makes her head 50%. Nice long and lean he called her, but I think shes chubby, shes got the cutest leg rolls and I love it! Some new things Paizley does are: she can sit briefly then topples over, loves to eat her rice or oatmeal, drinks a 6 oz bottle, no more colic! (she hasn’t had a crying episode for about a week and a half knock on wood!!), she is VERY scheduled which is nice to know what to expect but kind of hard to change up things on her. She wakes up around 8 or 9 eats and falls back to sleep for a while. Eats again around 130. Takes a bath and then a nap, usually only 30 minutes. I sure wish she napped longer! Eats again about 5. Takes a nap around 6 and eats around 8 and then goes to bed. She still spits up quite a bit, not as often but I still burp her over the sink! She holds her bottle now, when shes not being lazy, its pretty cute! She love to hold her toys and shove them right in her mouth, she has a little doll she absolutely loves. We will hold her upside down and she thinks its hilarious and just smiles. Its pretty cute. She sucks her thumb now and her bottom lip.  I am loving this age SO MUCH. I know she is only going to get funner from here on out. We love having her in our family so much, we couldn’t be more grateful. Here are some pics!

Well theres an update on Paiz! Hopefully we can take her swimming soon and get some fun pics! :)

Venting.

I randomly come across blogs. I may be a blog stalker? I don't know. I just get clicking and keep clicking when I should be sleeping but am not tired. I see all these SUPERMOMS out there. How do they do it?!?! Between the cooking, cleaning, staying fit, scrapbooking, going out with your husband, taking care of kids, still having a life, etc, etc, etc! I don't get it! I want to do all these things. . Make yummy lavish meals all the time so my family is fed and somehow hold on to all the recipies and have them organized. I want to scrapbook! I have so much stuff to do it but have never even attempted. Get into photography and take AMAZING pix of PJ all the time. Keep a journal. Have a clean house! Enjoy life. Have time alone with Kevin. SERIOUSLY. Can I do all of these things? Or do I just have the fake idea that there really are all these people doing all these things? Are they mutant or something?!?! Can someone tell me how to be a supermom and do all this?

Okay, I feel a little better now. Still overwhelmed, but somewhat better. :) Now to a goodnights sleep with Paiz not waking up until at least 730! Goodnight.

Yum Yum!

Paizley had rice! I know, most people don't start there babies until they are 4-6 months and Paiz isn't quite 4 yet. But, as many of you know, Paizley has slept through the night since she was 2 weeks old. The past 3 or 4 weeks she has been eating around 9 pm and then again at 9 am. Until Friday night! She woke up around 230, wanting to eat. And then Saturday night she did the same thing. So I told my self she is getting rice tonight (which was Sunday). She had met all the other requirements: interested in my food, supported sitter, and holds her head well. I know, I HATE going to the store on Sunday's and it isn't very good, but the girl needed food! So we headed to wally world, got some bowls, spoons, and rice and fed the hungry munchkin! Everyone says babies usually GAG on the food the first time they have it. Not Paizley! It was hilarious when I would be getting more on the spoon and bring it up to her, her mouth would be wide open and she was like shaking  her head back and forth trying to get to it quicker. lol Here are some pictures of the fun feeding! Oh and it worked, no more waking up in the middle of the night!
